International Day Of Chocolate: Try Making This Easy Chocolate Bar Recipe At Home

Today we are celebrating the International Day of Chocolate and its time to add a personalised touch to the celebrations and make a homemade treat to celebrate the day. But if you are bored of eating chocolate cake that you have all through the coronavirus lockdown time, you can try making an easy chocolate bar recipe with the added crunch of peanuts that would surely satiate your sweet cravings.

Ingredients you need:

200g – Milk chocolate

50g – Dark chocolate

½ cup – Roasted peanuts

150g – Caster sugar

½ cup – Fresh cream

1 tbsp – Butter

2 tbsp – Liquid glucose


*Melt the chocolates using the double boiler method. *Once the chocolates are melted mix them well.

*Now pour the melted chocolates in plastic trays and gently tap. Let it set for 30 seconds.

*Again pour back the chocolates on the bowl leaving only a thin layer of the chocolate crust on the plastic tray.

*Refrigerate the tray until its set.

*Chop roasted peanuts.

*In a pan, add the caster sugar and let it melt.

*Then add fresh cream and mix well and add butter and liquid glucose to it.

*Now put the peanut mixture over the set chocolate base.

*Place the tray in a refrigerator and refrigerate till set.

*Your easy chocolate peanut bar is ready.
