Cream cheese is freshly made cheese from milk and cream, with a soft and creamy texture and sweet and slightly tangy taste. Let us tell you that cheese goes perfectly with sweet and salty dishes. You can easily spread it on bread and have it. In fact, you can also use it for the icing for your cake or make your homemade ice-cream extra creamy with it.


1 tsp vanilla essence

2 cups of fresh cream

2 cups of full-fat milk

½ tsp salt

4 tablespoons of lemon juice


*Take a saucepan and pour 2 cups of milk in it, ensure the milk is full-fat variant and to it also add 2 cups of fresh cream.

*Heat it on medium flame and add a pinch of salt to it. Stir it continuously so that milk and cream do not burn.

*When it starts boiling, add 4 tablespoons of lemon juice and keep on stirring. The add a tablespoon of white vinegar, which will give the sour taste to the cheese.

*Now sieve it in a glass bowl and put a muslin cloth on top of the sieve and pour the curdled mixture to it, and just let it stay undisturbed for at least 15 minutes.

*Grind the mixture for 2-3 minutes. When you see the mixture has become harder, add a tablespoon of leftover liquid to it.

*Now transfer it to another bowl and let it settle for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
