Mother’s day is celebrated on the second Sunday of may every year, this year the day is falling on 10th May 2020. Mother’s day comes with lots of happiness and joy. The best way to celebrate the most important in a mother’s life is with luscious treats. And the day is incomplete without a cake.
Since, going out is not an option currently, due to coronavirus lockdown, so all you can do is give your mother a sweet-filled surprise by baking an amazing cake for her at home. With the help of basic ingredients from your pantry, you can bake this simple yet yummy cake at home.

All-purpose flour (2 ¼ cups)
Baking powder (1 tsp)
Baking soda (1 tsp)
Ground cardamom(1 tsp)
Ground cinnamon(1 tsp)
Ground ginger(½ tsp)
Whole milk(1 cup)
Bananas (3 overripe medium)
Unsalted butter(½ cup)
Brown sugar (1 cup)
Vanilla extract (1 tsp)
Step 1: Take a bowl, wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, salt and nutmeg together and keep it aside.
Step 2: Take another bowl and get some milk and add tea into a pan and keep it to a simmer. Take off the pan and let it settle for 20 minutes. Now mash bananas and the prepared milk in a bowl and keep aside.
Step 3: Now beat butter and sugar in another bowl.
Step 4: Now add vanilla extract and banana, mix them until blended properly.
Step 5: Now add flour and stir it to get combined.
Step 6: Grease a baking tray and pour the cake mixture into it.
Step 7: Bake it for 1 hr 20 min to 1 hr 30 min. Now check with a toothpick if it comes out clean when popped into the bread.
Step 8: Take out the cake and cool it for about 20 minutes.
